Aussprache
der japanischen Wörter
Der Aussprache liegt die englische Schreibweise zugrunde.
Grundsätzlich werden sie so
ausgesprochen, wie sie geschrieben sind, ohne besondere
Betonung. Dabei wird
z.B. wie in

| j | wie | dsch “Germany” |
| s | wie | ss “Haß” |
| sh | wie | sch “Schade” |
| r | wie | r ein rollendes r |
| y | wie | j “Jordan” |
| z | wie | s “Sand” ausgesprochen. |
Umlaute wie ai, ae, ei und ue werden wie zwei Vokale
ausgesprochen. Das u wird häufig
verschluckt, wie z.B. in Oi-Zuki (gesprochen: “Oisski” ) oder Shuto
(gesprochen: “Schto” )
